Succession Planning & Trusts

EMUN is the leading organization in the field of estate planning for the largest family-owned businesses in the Czech Republic. We have created trust funds and foundations, so that they are managed in accordance with international standards to which our family office adheres to. We have created family asset structures in excess of 30 billion CZK. Moreover, we are the first company in the Czech Republic to receive a license from the Czech National Bank to administer trust funds.

To that end, we regularly advise founders on various forms of succession planning including the preparation of the future generation as well as long-term asset monitoring and management.

Investments

We invest the assets of families, foundations, religious institutions and other types of long-term investors. We build diversified portfolios with individual investment strategies for each client. We work with only the very best international and Czech investment companies, asset managers, and banks from across the market.

We provide extraordinary alternative investment opportunities in the areas of private equity, venture capital, real assets and absolute return. We create "investment clubs" and co-invest the assets of our shareholders, clients and employees.

Family Office

The family office is at the core of our services and aims to make the lives of our succession and investment clients easier, thus ensuring the proper administration of their assets.

The services of our family office may replace or supplement existing employees responsible for administrative matters. Most families with assets of up to five billion CZK usually do not employ a complex administrative team or invest in the necessary technological infrastructure.

Our goal is the outsourcing of this service, guaranteeing replacement by taking advantage of our experience working for various similarly placed clients. The extent of our services will mainly depend on the scope of the family’s assets but also on their form and structure.
